The deprivation of these rights is so flagrant and so patent that it is not too much to say there has never been any other administrative act, in time of peace, which has so flagrantly destroyed the rights of a number of deserving citizens.
We appeal to the President of the United States, as the Chief Executive, with confidence that he will render his aid to the correction of this injustice by recommending to Congress the speedy repassage of the bill which has already received the approval of one branch of Congress, in order that justice may not be finally defeated.
